TRIALOGO

TRIALOGO is a dialogue of 3.  3 artists, 3 works of art, together forming one composition.

 A sculptor of modeled paper,  a painter, a sculptor of hard stone.  

TRIALOGO is not a group show.  It is a large collaborative artwork.  The artists curate their work together so that each combination of the 3 becomes a unique work of art. The exhibition hall is an immersive world.

2 meter by 3 meter paintings of multiple people by Dora Bendixen create a crowd. As a crowd is both one large gathering, and a conglomeration of small meetings, so will be our show. It will be both macro and micro, able to be viewed at the entrance of each space as a whole, and then to be studied and viewed on two more levels, the interactions among the 3 artworks and the value inherent in each individual artwork. We will bring larger sculptures than are shown in the photo, animals and people reaching 2 meters high, grouped as moving communities.

After years of working alone in our studios, yet seeing, following, and discussing each others work, we decided to exhibit together.  Not only is there strength and meaning when our work is put together, but the creative excitement in the creation of the exhibition is equal to the initial creation of the work.
