At the Casino, the artist is placed at the heart of the matter.

Acting as a springboard in the career of emerging artists, the art center supports them in the development and accomplishment of their artistic journey while offering them visibility to a varied audience and a vast network of professionals from all walks of life. Since its creation in 1996, Casino Luxembourg has been the first center of contemporary art in the country and its influence is international. Still on the lookout for new trends, the Casino works as a catalyst and defender of ideas and reflections around contemporary art, thereby promoting artistic prospecting, experimentation and innovation.

Exhibitions of international scope, mainly dedicated to the monographs of artists, are mounted exclusively by the Casino or in collaboration with other institutions. The production of new works being at the heart of its missions, the Casino invites artists to invest fully the premises, so as to create, beyond the exhibition itself, an environment conducive to discovery and exchange around their work. Support for the public – one of the main missions of the Casino – is done through committed, creative and ambitious mediation and educational program.

In addition to the exhibitions, the Casino team is setting up a vast program focusing on the different aspects and challenges of contemporary creation. Meetings, master classes and other conferences allow direct contact between the artist, a work and the public, an essential link to understanding today's art. For the 2023/2024 season, the Casino wanted to take an interest in the concept of fiction through a research laboratory during which international and intellectual art and intellectual students gather, and the inauguration of a book club.

Privileged for its privacy, Casino Luxembourg and in particular the « Aquarium » space hosts performances, concerts and plays in its spaces and continues to encourage the creation of new forms of expression for a curious audience.
