Metal Sculpture is my area. I love the rawness of metal, its strongness and flexibilty. My artwork shows transparent objects, where delicacy and weight come together. Multiple pieces or lines form swarms or geometrical objects. The spectators eye experiences varying density of transparency and line constellations while changing perspective. Wire, flat steel or copper mesh are assembled into abstact structures or spheres of airiness, depth and complexity. They either come all natural with fine rusty surface texture or other patina, occasionally varnished.

My inspiration comes from any kind of connection, especially when found in the wider sense of nature. Organisms, geographical systems, nets and braids, rugs, roots as well as architectural constructions and people - all is tied together, one complex mesh. Endless connections and interdependence. I approach this by welding, putting parts together, every link important, indispensable. In between I leave room for light, shadow and essential thoughts.
