Composed of driftwood, gathered on the island's coasts
Materials: driftwood, metal

About:
Cornelia Konrads‘ work is revealed in the undergrowth of the Villa, a swirling movement of the forest energy between the meadow in the north garden and the scrubland in the south garden. As if born from the major elements of the island: wind and wood, the sculpture seems to fly away before our eyes in the middle of the oaks.

Land Art artist, she questions with poetry and humour the relationship between Man and Nature, creating dreamlike works that reconcile these two forces.

The Tourbillon is composed of driftwood, gathered by the artist and the National Park teams on the island‘s coasts. Carried by the sea currents around Porquerolles, the pieces now tirelessly continue their flight among the trees.
