The nucleus of the association was the Kunstdünger GbR, which has been organizing art festivals since 1997. In 2001, Kunstdünger e.V. was founded to deal with the potential of a larger number of To promote art to members. In the meantime, over 70 members are already providing more and more sophisticated and original festival ideas. Artists active members present their Work on the exhibitions.
The purpose of the association is to promote cultural purposes by exclusively and directly promoting art. The purpose of the statutes is realized in particular by Exhibitions, theater performances, concerts and their development, through the preparation and implementation of game actions with an artistic focus, as well as through the awarding of Funding grants to performing and visual artists. “
The Sudhaus Valley
Most of the activities of the Kunstdünger e.V. have so far taken place in the historic Sudhaus Valley.
After the Graf Arco brewery stopped operating in Valley, the large event hall was expanded. The artificial fertilizer festivals draw wide circles through the much Premises.
An open-air stage was set up for the dance festival in the courtyard of the walls during the summer of sculpture and an open-air stage was set up in Ladestrasse.
The castle meadow served as a hot air balloon runway at the brass music festival.
Many an exhibit can be discovered in the old copper kettles or on the staircase, while guests are spoiled in the turquoise tiled boiler house at the bar.

The association lives from your support with active or financial help. The annual membership amount is currently 35 euros per person, 60 euros for partner memberships.
