Art and Nature in Perfect Harmony - at The Hannah Peschar Sculpture Garden, Surrey, UK

The event is sold out. If you would like to join the waiting list, please contact us at info@sculpture-network.org.

Celebrating their 40th anniversary, join us for an exclusive Sculpture Network gathering at the hidden gem of The Hannah Peschar Sculpture Garden, tucked in the countryside of Surrey. Broadleaved plants and mature trees support, frame and enhance a changing collection of contemporary sculpture in this stunning garden created by renowned landscape designer Anthony Paul.

Throughout the lifetime of the Sculpture Garden, the constant theme is the powerful relationship between art and nature. Neither one outshines the other: every piece is placed in harmony with its surrounding to create an amazing synergy within the environment.

You’re invited on this special Dialogue to take a guided walk around the Sculpture Garden with curator Vikki Leedham and two exhibiting artists; Riëlle Beekmans and Yke Prins. Discover the magic of the garden, the stories behind this unique landscape, and visit ‘The Indoor Gallery’ - a beautiful custom built exhibiting space within the grounds of the Sculpture Garden.

Programme (weather dependant)

3pm - Welcome with coffee, introductory talk by Vikki Leedham (co-curator and gallery manager of the Sculpture Garden)

3.30pm to 5pm - Guided walk around select areas of the Sculpture Garden - focusing on different artists, styles, materials and themes. To include short talks by exhibiting Dutch sculptors and Sculpture Network members Yke Prins & Riëlle Beekmans about their works on display within the exhibition

5pm - Return to the Indoor Gallery for further refreshments and opportunity to network

5.30pm - Finish

Should the weather be wet, guests are invited to explore the Sculpture Garden under their own steam between 3.30pm and 4.30pm - to meet back at the Indoor Gallery for slide-accompanied talks by Yke Prins & Riëlle Beekmans.

Owner and co-curator Anthony Paul will join the event for the latter part to talk about the landscape and the history.
