Sculpture in the City Tour led by Stella Ioannou, Artistic Director of LAC UNA and Founder and Director of Sculpture in the City

Sculpture in the City is an annual sculpture park that uses the urban realm of the City of London’s financial district as a rotating gallery space. The tour will be led by Stella Ioannou – Founder of Sculpture in the City and Artistic Director of LAC UNA – who oversees the creative aspects of the project, liaising with artists, galleries and various programme partners (including Whitechapel Gallery to deliver Nocturnal Creatures), fundraising and external partnerships as well as, in collaboration with Brunswick Arts, The PR and communication strategy.

Program:

17.00 – 18.30 Sculpture in the City tour led by Stella Ioannou;  the tour takes approximately 1.5hrs and will end in St Botolph’s without Bishopsgate churchyard close to Liverpool Street station
18.30 – 19.30: informal drinks and networking                       

Participation: No entrance fee.
Guests are welcome to join informal drinks after the visit (costs to be covered by the guests individually).

About Sculpture in the City

Sculpture in the City is a prime example of a sustainable public art program that evolves over time, reacting to and intervening in the ever-changing architectural landscape of the City of London. Displaying some of the most innovative three-dimensional works of contemporary art, this unique urban sculpture park is open day and night and welcomes around 500,000 visitors every year.

The event has been organised by Marek Wolynski, curator, creative producer, art writer, and new coordinator of sculpture network in UK.
