Sound Sculpture

Frank Nordiek and Georg Klein

What is sculpture? Two artists make sound installations to challenge our sensory experience and awareness of a place.

Frank Nordiek (Hannover, DE) responds to nature with sculptural interventions.
Since 2016, he curates the IntraRegionale, a site specific sculpture festival in Hannover, which currently is devoted to sound art.

Starting as a composer, Georg Klein (Berlin, DE) made his first sound installation inside a steel sculpture of Richard Serra in 2001. His sound works create awareness
of the history of a place, often pointing to the relativity of borders. www.georgklein.de
