Arthur Finds a Worm

Bronze sculpture on Steel Base.

Created for the BBC's 'Blue Peter' garden and launched at Chelsea Flower Show in 2022. The sculpture was commissioned by Juliet Sargeant for her garden design , Discover Soil, which won silver gilt,
an informative design advocating soil health.

Inspired by the true story of Arthur, who discovered a worm and wanted to protect it by building a home using a leaf.
The commission focused on educating future generations that healthy soil is vital to food production, with the sculpture reflecting respect for the creatures that live in the soil and maintain soil health.

It now sits in the garden at RHS Bridgwater, Manchester on permanent display.

A bronze figurative sculpture of the boy arthur who discovered a worm and wanted to protect it.

Commissioned for Chelsea Flower show 2022, Juliet Sargeant and the BBC
