Firebreak
This is a kinetic work powered by wind and interacting with natural light. Flag tape is stretched across a firebreak and attached to trees that line the edges. The wind creates different rhythms of movement from slow and lyrical to furious electric flashes. Sunlight flashes can also appear and the tape can glow a hot fiery orange red according to the position of the sun, see video.
