"WHAT DO THEY THINK OF US.."
Said a younster on an exhibition and instalation of 20 wooden hares called 'Les Penseurs'(The Thinkers)
They are hard to categorize .
The recycled planks used, and the nonchalant rough and ready make, makes us even wonder whether this is art .
But viewing the impact it has, we could maybe call it conceptual art ?
I Usually make drawings and paintings and come from an education of grafics at the artschool.But an opportunity accurred in 2002 where I had free play in an old deserted fort on a beach in Portugal.Ever since I am an onregelmatig builder of these great creatures when need is there. I am trying to integrate them now in short stop-motion animation video's. https://vimeo.com/310143449
