The wall installation consists of individually crafted larch wood cubes, which are glued together to form a dynamic yet serene grid, showcasing the wood's natural grain. A circular recess in the surface draws the eye to the central sculpture, which is made of welded wire pins. The detailed head and shoulder section reveals a simplified human form. The nails are sealed with matt acrylic varnish to prevent oxidation. The larch wood has been treated with Scandic Oil to ensure that it retains its natural colour permanently. human nails Wall V explores the constant change inherent in human existence. The modular wooden structure symbolises growth and development, while the compacted nail figure represents a moment in the ongoing process of change.
