I have always had a fascination with stone forms left over from bygone civilisations.
This is one of a series of works exploring the idea of enigmatic forms from ancient civilisations often with script that is no longer decipherable. The UK, France and the Orkney isles have numerous examples although every civilisation has left something behind. However, my choice of wood as a material references all that has been lost though atrophy.
