Radioactive Snakes and Black Butterflies

Due to radioactive radiation, butterflies have mutated black. The orange butterflies represent hope.

Material: wood, wire, fabric, wool, beads.
Purple and green fabric snakes snake their way up a purple crocheted wooden lattice. At the top right is a golden woven square. Orange and black butterflies sit scattered around.
The snakes are supposed to stand for the radioactive threat at the example of Fukushima, which caused the butterflies to mutate at the time. The orange butterflies can be understood as hope.
