Self Reflection on Homeostasis

Homeostasis (noun)
- The tendency of a system, especially the physiological system of higher animals, to maintain internal stability, owing to the coordinated response of its parts to any situation or stimulus that would tend to disturb its normal condition or function. Dictionary.com
The idea of Homeostasis hovers above the work. An inner structure, fragilely and sensitively balanced, in relation to itself and to its neutral, sterile, white surrounding.
The four separate pipes curve around each other and create a coherent, quadrangular form. They seem to be both cold and industrial, and organic.
The work´s large-scale, forms, structure and materiality communicates softly, yet directly, with the viewer ́s bodily presence.
