Bonomo Valentina Arte Contemporanea

In 2002, Galleria Valentina Bonomo opened its new premises in Via del Portico d'Ottavia 13 in Rome with a solo exhibition by Mimmo Paladino.
The gallery is located in Rome's Jewish quarter, one of the capital's most beautiful hidden treasures, in a 15th century convent, formerly the stately palace of a Roman family called 'La casa dei Fabii'.
Visiting this small neighbourhood, bordered by the Tiber on one side and Piazza Venezia on the other, is both a cultural experience due to sites such as the Synagogue, the Roman ruins, the Jewish Museum and the various contemporary art galleries, and a gastronomic tradition thanks to the numerous restaurants scattered throughout the neighbourhood.


The gallery spaces have hosted exhibitions by internationally renowned Italian and foreign artists who have presented projects and installations created specifically for the place.
