Kunstrauschen-The Long Night of Project Spaces in Karlsruhe

Kunstrauschen invites visitors once a year to experience Karlsruhe’s independent art scene in all its diversity. Parallel to to the art fair art karlsruhe, numerous off-spaces and project spaces open their doors, transforming the city for one evening into a network of artistic discovery.

From backyard workshops to private apartments, from studios to former industrial halls, the participating venues showcase just how multifaceted, vibrant, and surprising art can be. Visitors not only encounter works of contemporary art but also meet the artists themselves, who make their processes, perspectives, and experiments directly tangible.

Kunstrauschen sees itself as an invitation to dialogue, a platform for exchange and inspiration beyond established institutions. Each space designs its program individually together creating a kaleidoscopic view of the city’s creative energy.

The event is organized by the Department of Cultural Affairs of the City of Karlsruhe and the UNESCO City of Media Arts Karlsruhe Office, who, together with the project spaces and art karlsruhe, make this special experience possible.
