Sculptural installation at the headquarters of baierl+demmelhuber, Töging/Inn, Germany
Heiko Börner’s sculptural installation “Wings” fuses a millennia-old craft with a contemporary geometric
form. As such, the ensemble perfectly reflects characteristics of both the headquarters’ architecture and the
philosophy of baierl + demmelhuber itself. Here, traditional craftsmanship and avant-garde vision are no
contradictions. The forms carved out of five-metre high oak trunks come together seamlessly and bring the
surrounding space and the architecture in a dialogue.
