Laurie Sheridan

I am an interdisciplinary artist based in the Hudson Valley area of New York state,
United States. I take nature as my point of departure.
I imagine a future where nature increases its range and power, to the extent of
conquering humans, who willingly defer to it. Nature has become hyper-resilient; it may
present as a hybrid of flora and fauna, an energetic ancestral sap, or anthropomorphic
and otherworldly . My creations stand ready to reanimate and restore what has been
lost.
