Walter Zuccarini
The art of Walter Zuccarini is a synthesis between the deep knowledge of ancient art techniques, transmitted from at least four generations of Walter’s ancestors, and the search for an expressive language suitable to convey a spiritual vision of reality in which the existential “vertical” dimension crosses the horizon of history. His pursuit, done with humility, sacrifice and truth, is nourished by a sense of gratitude and reverence for life. Nature, perceived as the earthly manifestation of the spirit and inspiring muse, connects his artistic career to environmentalist movements which, in the sixties of the last century, formalized the movement of land art and to Joseph Beuys work in defense of the nature. In his land art Walter Zuccarini, with his collaborators of La Casa per le Arti (the Home ofr the Arts), founded in 2010, integrates the archetypal elements that, resonating with the macrocosmic matrix, dynamize and vitalize the landscape. In his works made of stone and wood, it’s possible to see the way the shaping forces of the etheric world in constant motion, called by the gesture, slow down rhwir vibrations, becoming sensible forms. In this process they communicate a truthful sense of harmony and life. The frequent use of gold leaf gives his works a sense of incorruptibility and precious radiance. (www.lacasaperlearti.com)
