Nicola Valentini

Sculpture is a powerful metaphor of life. We can see a sculpture from infinite perspectives and the more perspectives we know, the more we can appreciate it. Everyday, through sculpture, we learn to avoid banality and flat-thinking.

I first met sculpture in 2000, point in time where I was able to experience the modelling of clay, casting and direct carving. My experience lasted until 2005 when I undertook the academic path of Art history, market and critics. In 2014 I started a Ph.D in Padua (interrupted) and in 2019 I obtained a Master in Cultural Management.
I founded ArtMusicEvent in 2003 and since 2018 I am part of the sculpture network team as author and coordinator for north Italy.
