The Enchanted Garden 2025
'The Enchanted Garden 2025' is opening with a newly landscaped garden space with obelisks, Metasequoias, Golden Honey Locust, and climbing roses showcasing many new artists and artworks. We like to mention:
- Glenn Priester (https://www.the-enchanted-garden.info/GlennPriester): Connects the Asian with the Western world. ‘Zee-luchtlandschappen (Sea-Air landscapes)’ vertically connect clouds to earth.
- Hilde Peeters (https://www.the-enchanted-garden.info/HildePeeters): A creative all-rounder who specialises in working with bronze.
- Ioannis Konsolakis (https://www.the-enchanted-garden.info/IoannisKonsolakis): After 30 years of working experience as a blacksmith, he wants to add an artistic touch to his work.
- Isabelle Wallemacq (https://www.the-enchanted-garden.info/IsabelleWallemacq): The interplay of light and colour in the glass, its appearance and reflections, which vary according to the intensity of the light, impress her, and make her work so exciting.
- Laurent Messager (https://www.the-enchanted-garden.info/LaurentMessager): A unique process that combines stone carving and modelling with cement on a metal support. This innovative technique allows Laurent Messager to create slender, twisted silhouettes that express a sense of movement and dynamism, sometimes also coloured or polychromed with metallic pigments.
- Mariek Vanbuel (https://www.the-enchanted-garden.info/MariekVanbuel): The plaster sculptures invite you to share your own story.
- Myriam Thomas (https://www.the-enchanted-garden.info/MyriamThomas): Glass pinting with depth effect by combining glass slumping and photo-transfert. They present landscapes.
- Régine Dulière : Vegetation becomes sculptures in corten steel.
- Tamara Greindl (https://www.the-enchanted-garden.info/TamaraGreindl): Her creations are feminine and highly personal. Her world is sometimes playful, sometimes poetic.
The Enchanted Garden
'The Enchanted Garden' is an international art exhibition in a structured, natural sculpture garden in a landscape full of water, contrasts and surprises.
'The Enchanted Garden' is situated halfway between Brussels, Liège et Namur (40km), near the ancient 'De Vlaamse Toontuinen' in Hoegaarden, in the beautiful Hesbaye landscape around Jodoigne, on the bicycle path connecting Leuven, Tienen and Namur (Ravel), on the N29 (Tienen – Charleroi) connecting the E40 (Brussels – Liège) and the E411 (Brussels – Namur).
'The Enchanted Garden' presents artworks in bronze, ceramic, composite, glass, metal, stone, etc. from around the world and, of course, also from Europe!
Art Sanctuary has invited poets from Wallonia, the Netherlands, France, and Flanders to create poems communicating with the sculptures in the exhibition.
Au Moulin des Délices
A short walk through the fields connects 'The Enchanted Garden' with 'Au Moulin des Délices' (https://www.routeyou.com/nl-be/route/view/6374463). This dream place is in the heart of Saint-Rémy-Geest, one of the most beautiful villages in Wallonia, in a relaxing setting that invites you to go for a walk. In all simplicity, Chantal Vaes of 'Au Moulin des Délices' serves drinks and snacks in a dream garden, using local, organic and homemade products. There is also a B&B with a room for 2 to 4 people and a stay in an unusual accommodation.
