TRIOLOGO-3 ARTISTS COLLABORATING

TRIOLOGO is an exhibition featuring 3 artists living and working near the marble quarry town of Carrara, and the Sculptor’s town of Pietrasanta, in Italy.  Each of these artist’s were drawn to the area because of the raw artistic energy diffused through the many sculptor studios, bronze foundries and the sheer density of committed artists working closely to each other.

Dora Bendixen, Neal Barab, and Sabina Feroci have worked in this area for years, exchanging critiques and discussions of their own work and the role of the artist in contemporary society.  For TRIOLOGO, these artists compose a visual dialogue, believing that the collaboration amongst them show a strong, surprising, humorous and meaningful way to tell stories about the paradoxical, ironic and confusing human life.
