This carving in teak was later cast in bronze - I still own the original that formed part of the series preceding my Flexible Sculptures. I am interested in human relations, tensions, spaces between solids, always searching for organic shapes with clearly defined edges.
Here we can already feel the urge of breaking loose - the man and women hold on to each other ready to swirl around and perhaps to let go and break free.
