Irene Fröhlich-Wiener

I am a Swiss Sculptress, most of my career has been established from 1976 to 2002 in London. In the 50 years of working the form and materials have changed; they can be subdivided into 8 categories which I will illustrate in Collections below. I've gained entrance in "Who is Who in Art in 1998 thanks to my "Flexible Sculptures".

Since 2002 I live and work in Lugano and Weggis, Switzerland.

I love experimenting. The content and spirit of my work has not changed fundamentally - wether working in stone, wood, bronze or glass and more recently in painted steel and Moos-Gummi - I am mostly exploring relationships, spacial and emotional. Only my well know collection of "Magnetic Personalities" have accompanied me since the beginning - I still enjoy playing and inviting my audience to play.
