Vita Vasorum is a cycle of sculptures made from recycled clay, shaped from flattened masses into organic structures that echo the natural process of growth, like roots or plants spreading beneath the ground. Stripped of any external shell, the works embody the essence of a living being’s inner architecture, revealing the vital currents that sustain life through a network of vessels. These forms whether evoking animals, plants, or fungi symbolize the fundamental interconnectedness of all living organisms and our subtle, intrinsic bond with nature.
Different types of clay; white, red, black, procelain, chamotte and pure interwine like branching structures, their variety still visible on the surface. Through the process of drying, refining and firing at high temperatures, the material transforms while retaining its living essence.Â
