Embracing generations

Upon my discovery that new olive s grow from dead wood, 'Embracing generations' intuitively became a symbol of regrowth. The theme of the cycle of growth and degeneration was already in many more of my sculpture like 'Unending Movement' and 'Inside Outside'. The beauty of this trunk of olive wood with it's different movements and colours guided me to make this sculpture.
