Bart Nijboer
In my work I try to capture the sense that everything is a live. In moving installations, metal sculptures, drawings, photography, etc. I am looking to understand the big movements of life where we as human are only able to catch them in the small experience where they touch our own lives. Here the human body and the perspective on the physical world around us are important aspects in my work.
I am Bart Nijboer, living and working in The Netherlands. In 2014 I graduated at the academy for Fine Arts in Arnhem. Here I build up my carear as an artist. In 2023 me and two colleagues start up a foundation to rent an old school for ateliers spaces. Here we created 23 ateliers, including a shared matalworshop and a artist-in residence. In this space I have a room for my selve and part in the shared metalworkshop to make my artworks.
