I am fascinated with the poetic phenomena of mental images and physical sense of presence which our encounter with matters and with artworks could produce.
I am using usually materials such as metal, concrete, charcoal, and graphite, and relate to their raw qualities and resistance, and work with them with exposed gestures, constructing exposed structures.
I am seeking to preserve their raw, brutal, rough, direct traits while expressing my experience and understanding of the world.
I am interested in exploring attentively the nature, dynamics, and characteristics of different matters, and in creating tactile sensations and awareness to the components of a certain structure, state and/or moment, and their roles in the entire composition.
