Dialogue in Remagen: Arp Museum and Art Machines Hall

From the Arp Museum to Willi Reiche's art machine hall – a day between poetry and mechanics

Join us for an inspiring day combining Rhine romanticism and machine art. We begin at the Arp Museum in Rolandseck, where art and architecture meet, and end the event above Remagen in Willi Reiche's fascinating art machine hall, where movement becomes art

Program

11:00 – 12:00 Arrival & getting to know each other
We start the day in a relaxed atmosphere with time to get to know each other and for an initial interesting exchange.

12:00 – 13:30 Guided tour of the Arp Museum
Together with the director, Dr Julia Wallner, we discover the Arp Museum – a place where art, nature and architecture enter into dialogue. We will gain insights into the current exhibitions and the legacy of Hans Arp and Sophie Taeuber-Arp.

13:30 – 14:30 Lunch break (at your own expense)
Time for lunch together and inspiring conversations at Bistro Interieur Nr. 253.

15:15 – 17:00 Guided tour of Willi Reiche's Kunstmaschinenhalle
A special highlight awaits us at the end of the day: Willi Reiche opens the doors to his Kunstmaschinenhalle. In an extraordinary location in the middle of an orchard, we will experience kinetic works of art full of movement, precision and poetry.
