Valentina Pocock

Currently completing the EMAMS program at the University of Zurich.

Founder of the curatorial platform Alias Art, a gallery beyond walls.
Art Advisor and Creative Director at VAMP Studio.

VAMP was brought up amongst musicians, experts in italian old masters, international gallerists and contemporary artists, leading her to inherently be inspired by the creative environment that craddled her throughout her childhood. In her early teens she entered the music world when she began singing professionally for the Children's Choir of the Opera de Monte Carlo. She would go on to explore music and the juxtaposing means of expression such as fashion, photography, and videography. Community has always been at the core of her being, as an artist and nomad. At 16 she started hosting events for young artists in order to strengthen her local creative communities. Today, the Alias Art provides a refined version of these grassroots events that shaped her ideals and network, with the motto remaining the same, bringing people closer together and deepening the understanding of self through art.

As part of the Executive Masters in Art Market Studies, Valentina is investigating Generational Responsibilities within cultural heritage and collection management wealth transfer;

How to build a sustainable art legacy, from Artist to Collectors, Foundations to Museums. With a focus on international legal frameworks, multijuristictional inheretance law and the cultural responsibilities that come with art ownership over generations.
