Open call for Exhibition Proposals (Ireland) - "The Dock"
The Dock is seeking exhibition proposals from professional visual artists based in Leitrim and the bordering counties for our Winter Exhibitions (October—December) in 2024. The deadline for submission is Monday 25 March at 5pm. Please read the submission guidelines carefully.

Applications should be emailed to thedockartscentre@gmail.com with the subject heading “Exhibition Proposals” in a single PDF document (max. 20MB) including:
Required
1. Artist’s biography: Tell us about your key achievements (up to 250 words)
2. Work statement: Tell us about your artistic practice (up to 250 words)
3. Exhibition proposal: What would you do at The Dock (up to 500 words)
4. Documentation of proposed work(s)
5. Working budget up to €8000
Optional
1. Access rider (see examples of Access Docs, Access Riders)
2. CV or résumé
3. Examples of previous work and/or exhibitions (up to 3 examples)
4. Installation notes
5. Other information you think is important

The deadline is Monday 25 March at 5pm. Late submissions will not be processed.
Notes
Professional artists based in Leitrim, Donegal, Fermanagh, Cavan, Longford, Roscommon and Sligo are eligible to apply.
You can apply for a solo or group exhibition. The lead artist/applicant must be based in Leitrim or one of the surrounding counties.
Applications must be in a single PDF containing all required information. PDFs should not exceed 20MB. Websites and cloud storage are not suitable for presenting documentation.
The Dock will provide a budget up to €8000. Proposals with a lower budget will be considered. Please note artist’s fee(s) must be included separate from all delivery budget lines (eg. accommodation, travel, materials, production, transport, etc.)
The Dock will also provide basic technical assistance, digital communications, opening reception and professional documentation. If you require specialist/external technical support, please include a daily rate in your budget breakdown.
