MAKERS Prize

Are you a visual artist or “MAKER” and would you like to share your art with the general public? Then participate in the MAKERS Prize. Who knows, your work might be selected for the group exhibition in St. Anne's Castle - from June 15 to July 15, 2024 - and you will win a nice cash prize!

With this MAKERS Prize competition , the local government of Maldegem wants to offer a platform to visual artists to present their work. This fourth edition is entirely dedicated to BOUNDLESS .

There is an open call until April 21, 2024 and you can submit your application via the button above.

The competition is open to everyone, aged 16 and over.
Participation is free.
Each participant may submit one work of art (a related pair or series must be captured in one image).

Group exhibition

From all candidates, the jury – consisting of Tiemke Gauderis, Daan Rau and Jonas Vansteenkiste – makes a selection of the most striking works. This selection will then be on display in the exhibition in St. Anne's Castle from June 15 to July 15, 2024.

Three laureates will also be chosen from all selected works, who can win a nice cash prize (1st ^: € 1,000, 2nd ^: € 750, 3rd ^: € 500).
