Welcome to the homepage of our art association.

We appreciate your interest and would like to briefly introduce ourselves and our goals.

It is very important to us to make art and culture accessible to everyone.

Innovative and integrative forms of encounter between artists and the public are another goal that we strive.

We see the understanding of the arts, which can also be used to cause discussions, as well as the cultural organization of leisure time as important from the start Prerequisite for our project. Over time, we have found many friends and partners to support us in this.

We are a friendly team that is pleased about interest from every generation: Whether young, old, small or large – get to know us!

The Ottobrunn Art Association was founded in July 1995 by Doris Laves-Wegat and her daughter Julia. Doris Laves Wegat was also 1st from the founding of the club until the general assembly in February 2016. Chair of the art association.

The association paid tribute to its merits by being appointed honorary chairman.

The Kunstverein Ottobrunn e.V. has set itself the goal of promoting young artists in particular and promoting art in general.

He is a registered association, is recognized as a non-profit organization and a member of the Association of German Art Associations ( ADKV ).

Since September 2001, thanks to a generous rental offer from the municipality of Ottobrunn, KUNSTVEREIN has had its own gallery, TREFFPUNKT KUNST, in which Rathausstr. 5.

Up to 10 solo exhibitions take place there every year. Regular events of the Ottobrunn Art Association are:

The ANNUAL EXHIBITION, which is reserved only for active members of the art association.
The legal OPEN EXHIBITION „ ARTiges ", which is advertised nationwide every two years and in which all visual artists participate.
The KUNSTVEREIN OTTOBRUNN also offers readings, musical performances and lectures in the gallery.
We regularly offer GUIDELINES through all major Munich exhibitions under competent management. These tours are free for members.
Every last Wednesday of the month ( except during school holidays ) our STAMMTISCh takes place in the restaurant "Ayinger" in the Wolff Ferrari house, Rathausplatz 2. Everyone who wants to ( also non-members! ) to talk in a cozy atmosphere about art, art-related topics and about God and the world are cordially invited.
"ART FOR CHILDREN" is a topic that is very important to the KVO; so activities ( art viewing, painting etc. ) for children and Young people offered.
Every year in December the exhibition „ ANNUAL TASKS ", in which interested citizens use works of art that represent club members free of charge for seduction can purchase a low price. The proceeds go to non-profit organizations.

Who the activities of our association, which are organized by a voluntary board and are carried by numerous volunteers, would like to support, either an active member ( i.e. as an artist ) or a non-active member to promote the association.

The membership fee is 60.- € p.a. ( We offer spouses, adolescents and children special conditions ).

The membership fees are tax deductible ( according to § 48, Paragraph 2, Section A No. 3 of the EST Implementing Regulation ).
