ALYTUS LOCAL LORE MUSEUM

 We can consider the first attempt of alycens to create a nation’s culture and an organization interested in the past in 1920. January 13. A „ Ausha“ Society of the Ausha<TAG1> registered in the Registry of the Alytus County Governor. However, the society quickly fell out because its founders were cut off. Only seven years later, a new platoon of activists focused on museum work: county doctor S. Janavičius, Priests K. Paulavičius and P. Ballway, teachers S. Lent and V. Jakucian, servant R. Adjgauskas.
