THE KRÖLLER-MÜLLER MUSEUM
At the Kröller-Müller Museum, you will find the world’s finest Vincent van Gogh collection and enjoy masterpieces by modern masters such as Claude Monet, Georges Seurat, Pablo Picasso and Piet Mondriaan. The museum is a treasure trove of De Stijl and futurism, and will surprise you with presentations of contemporary artists.
In the sculpture garden, you will stroll past works by Barbara Hepworth, Jean Dubuffet, Marta Pan and others.
For architecture enthusiasts we have the museum buildings by Henry van de Velde and Wim Quist, the Gerrit Rietveld pavilion and Aldo van Eyck pavilion in the sculpture garden.
Its location in the heart of the Veluwe and the unique combination of art and nature make the Kröller-Müller a place to enjoy and unwind. A perfect day out for young and old!
MISSION
As an internationally leading museum, the Kröller-Müller Museum would like its Dutch and international guests to be able to enjoy the world-famous collection of works by Van Gogh, his contemporaries, and artists who have had a considerable influence on art history after them.
The Kröller-Müller Museum collaborates nationally and internationally with organizations that contribute to the promotion of and research into artworks and artists in the museum’s collection.
VAN GOGH EUROPE
The Kröller-Müller Museum, the Van Gogh Museum Amsterdam and Van Gogh Brabant are the founding partners of Van Gogh Europe, which was established in 2012. The aim of the foundation is to make Van Gogh’s legacy as widely accessible as possible in Europe. After the initial phase, in 2018 the foundation began refocusing on objectives and strategy, so that a new long-term plan of action can be drawn up. Two new partners joined the initiative: the Drents Museum and the house in London (Hackford Road), where Vincent van Gogh lived.
