Progetto Arte - Elm
The artistic project of the gallery is characterized by the will to contribute to rising, divulging and conveying the works by the artists we directly deal with.
Great attention is paid to the works of artists, mainly Italian, who have given an important contribution to the art’s history and whom, in our opinion, for different reasons, art reviewers, the audience and last, but not least the market, have not deservedly well-regarded.
Coming to the themes treated, our gallery gives space to different forms of expressions: painters dealing with all the aspects of their art, sculptors who investigate on space and matter, artists who use various types of material. In summary, we can say three words: painting, sculpture, matter.
We also identify and propose some young or emergent artists.
The gallery organizes 2/3 exhibitions every year, in strict cooperation with the artists themselves or their heirs. Every exhibition is curated by the most important Italian art reviewers, with a special preference for the reviewer who has more intensely dedicated himself to the works of the artist.
Among the art reviewers of our exhibitions we can name Claudio Cerritelli, Bruno Corà, Marco Meneguzzo, Demetrio Paparoni, Francesco Tedeschi.
For every personal exhibition we organize we also publish a bilingual catalogue whose main objective is to instill into the reader the “taste” of the exhibition, and of course, also to go deeper into the subjects treated by each artist. Great attention is paid to the pictures of the layout of the exhibition and to important and distinctive details of the works. Every catalogue also allows updating the explanatory material and the biography of every artist to the date of the exhibition.
In addition to the personal exhibitions, our gallery also organizes collective ones with specific themes; the objective is to propose a pause of reflection and an in-depth analysis about significant aspects of an art movement or of a particular historic moment, from the Seventies to Arte Povera (poor art) to conceptual art.
We also cooperate with institutions, foundations and private bodies; we lend them the artworks of our artists. Last, but not least, we also work with other galleries in Italy and abroad to set up exhibitions.
Our gallery also participates in the most important Italian exhibitions, like Artefiera Bologna and MiArt, Artissima Turin and it is also working to exhibit in international events like Art Paris.
