C14 PARIS - Contemporary ceramics show
Opening reception and awards announcement:
Thursday, 1 October, 6:30–10:30 p.m., in the presence of Carine Petit, Mayor of Paris’s 14th arrondissement.
The 22nd edition of C14 PARIS takes place from 1 to 4 October 2026 at the annex of the town hall in Paris’s 14th arrondissement. This free-entry salon is dedicated to contemporary sculptural ceramics, from three-dimensional works to mixed-media installations.
This year, 33 exhibitors, half of them from outside France, have been selected from approximately 300 international applications. The four-day programme also features a performance and five awards designed to support emerging artists. Bringing ceramic artists into contact with galleries, cultural institutions and collectors, C14 PARIS offers a space to discover new work and exchange ideas about contemporary ceramics.
Founded 25 years ago, C14 PARIS was the first French salon devoted to contemporary sculptural ceramics and ceramic installation. It began championing the material’s artistic possibilities well before ceramics gained its current prominence. Today, the salon continues to focus on discovering emerging artists and helping them build connections with cultural institutions, galleries and collectors.
For its 2026 edition, a specialist jury selected 30 artists from approximately 300 applications coming from countries such as France, Canada, Finland, Germany, Malaysia, Sweden, Ukraine and the United States. Their work reflects a wide range of approaches to ceramics, from technical experimentation to responses to contemporary concerns. Five awards offer further opportunities for professional development.
C14 PARIS is organised by the nonprofit association whose committee works on a voluntary basis. Supported by the City of Paris, the town hall of the 14th arrondissement and the Andrée and Michel Hirlet Endowment Fund, it aims to give contemporary ceramics greater visibility while keeping the salon accessible to everyone. Each year, the association also publishes a bilingual catalogue presenting the artists and their work.
