 - Original steel made by G. BECKER GmbH, St. Ingbert, Germany.
 - First installed at University of Saarland in Spring 2010.
 - Showcased at Cologne Art Fair in September 2010 (via Alp Galleries).
 - Returned to Saarbrücken (CIC Solar) from 2012–2015.
 
Steel in Storage (2016–2021)
- Sculpture was placed in storage.
 - Fred George refused to allow the steel to be scrapped.
 - In tribute to his sister Catherine George (original financial supporter), Fred reimagined the sculpture.

Rebirth & Redesign (2021–2022)
- In Spring 2021, Fred George and Prof. Schmidt-Gönner collaborated with Walor Steel in Burbach.
 - Sculpture redesigned to reflect “unstable peace” in the world
 - Left side repositioned 1.5 meters lower on main Column
 - Team included:
 - WALOR Stahlbau (Christine Simon) reworked and installed the sculpture in September 2021.
 - Andrea MĂĽller
 - Emma Morisse George (Fred’s daughter)
 - Mike Robillard
 - Emma led the design of the mirrored maquette (scale model).
 - Andrea MĂĽller and Michael Robillard led the mirroring and tiling of galvanized steel.
 
Community Involvement in Burbach, Germany
- Ukrainian refugee children, local artisans and neighborhood children collaborated on the sculpture.
 - Materials used: mirrors, glass jewels, pennies, and tiles—to reflect positivity and unity.
 - Hosted “art days” for 60 Ukrainian children.
 - Children created artwork for soldiers on the Ukrainian front lines.
 - Five Ukrainian families were hosted at our art house and where involved in the project.
 - The goal was to:
 - Reflect positivity and light
 - Foster unity within the local community of Burbach, Germany
 
Construction & Materials
- Full-scale styrofoam model created for planning the tiling layout.
 - Mirrors symbolically reflect “the weather of today's society.”

Tiling Process & Tile Contributors
- Tiling began in October 2021
 - Tile Donations:
 - Villeroy & Boch: Antique plates and tiles with modern tiles from their collection.
 - Tamega Tiles (Hanover): Latin American and Spanish tiles for vibrant color and mood.

Support for Ukraine:Â Little did we know, a war was brewing in the East.
- The Mosaic Peace Sculpture gained new meaning after the war in Ukraine began.
 - On February 25, 2022, We draped the sculpture with a 9-meter Ukrainian flag.
 - The sculpture has since become a beacon for peace in Ukraine.

 - It now stands as a beacon for peace in Ukraine and the world.
