Together 1

This piece is autobiographical.
I was born the youngest in a family with three children. My mother had loved to have four children, but about a year before I was born she had a miscarriage. I also shared in this loss. I could feel lonely.
In the piece Together 1 I bring together two embryonal forms. Together they take on a new shape, together they are a new whole. Creating this piece was transformative for me. Loneliness was transformed into something new, something that is good and pure and lighter.
To emphasize the purity, the piece has been glazed glossy white.
