What is behind the mask?
Hiding?
Hiding behind the shiny, immaculate or colourful, dull or funny appearance.
Is behind it a doubtful, dirty, corrupt, squidgy mass oozing out of its orifices?
Or, are behind the mask a bright, sharp and brilliant mind, and a sound, flawless and transparent soul?
The antipodes in this piece of artwork: the aluminium part and the acrylic glass part clash together and symbolically create the thorny question.
