Tribute
This work was a response to Cape Cornwall and the abundance of wild flowers. Stones found in the (private) parking area provided wind resistance/weight and the location for the work. The movement of the ribbon appeared as glittering, the ribbons almost alive and called to mind, crabs, lobsters and seagulls amongst other references. The work was made at the time of the Orlando killings in the USA and is a tribute not only to the wind and the sea but to those people who were taken by that tragic incident.
