Alesya Murlina is an interdisciplinary artist. Her works, which include sculptural objects, photographs, videos, and graphics, are not only carriers of emotional experience but also offer the viewer an opportunity to discover new aspects of everyday things and change their perception of the ordinary. The artist explores the interaction of different media, investigating ways of blurring the boundaries between them. By highlighting sculpture as her primary medium, Alesya seeks to form a new perspective on contemporary sculpture in her creative process.
Themes of home, remembrance, serenity, and silence often permeate her work. The house is seen not only in the context of architecture, but also as an emotional space symbolizing seclusion and spiritual regeneration. The artist also draws attention to the fleeting details of everyday life that typically remain unnoticed. Special focus in her work is given to emotional and sensual connections with surrounding objects. Alesya explores the interaction between humans and their environment, emphasizing how space and objects shape our feelings and experiences.
