De beelden die ik maak raken afwisselend abstractie en figuratief,echter bijna altijd is de gemeenschappelijke noemer hout. Ik stapel mechanisch gevormd hout die ik zodanig bewerk dat er een dialoog ontstaat met organisch gebeeldhouwde vormen .Zo ontstaan houtsculpturen die een dialoog zoeken tussen natuurlijke groeiwijzen en door de mens ontwikkelde vormen. Vergangkelijkheid ,de cycli in de natuur en de aantasting ervan zijn mijn inspiratiebronnen. My sculptures are inspired by nature.The wood sculpturesthat Icreate in this way seek to establish a dialogue between natural ways of growing and forms developed by man.The "transcience"of all things is,thus,also emphasized.and human interventions are reduced to a component within an existential process.A mechanism with a melancholic undertone witch ennobles itself..A confrontation,due to the use of nature on the one hand,and the violation of nature on the other.The origin,not only wood,but also of the spiritual value of all tha inspires us,is thus emphasized.
