Mother and Child

Originally the baby was not fixed but could be cradled in different ways - but this proved to be too precarious even for my taste... but the mother is sitting on a wooden base (carved in teak) as half of a Yin-Yang shape. She is not fixed to the base - my love for flexibilty is too strong.

This piece exists in 3 versions - always with the base not integral but an organic separation shape.
