FAC - Fronteacciaiocromato Art Association (APS) in Carrara, Italy.
We are Fronte Acciaio Cromato (F.A.C.)and we’re not here to please anyone. Since 2015, we’ve been working in a small workshop in the center of Carrara, using our art, a chaotic fusion of sculpture, painting, screen printing, installation, and video art, o dismantle the pretensions of the contemporary art scene. We’re from Germany and China, but we’ve made Carrara (Italy) our playground.
For us, the name has since (even in retrospec) become synonymous with new beginnings and journeys. Creativity isn’t a big deal; it’s about the fusion of our last names (Stahlberg and Krome) and the founding of a combative, rebellious FRONT. New artists are constantly joining our core team to realize projects together. We are not a bunker. We value dialogue!
