Monika Grzymala & Katharina Hinsberg. Between one line
Both artists use all ten fingers at the same time, either with their hands on the copier (Grzymala) or with fingers immersed in wax paint on the wall (Hinsberg). A key subject for both artists is spatial drawing.
This exhibition brings together two artists who engage with the subject of drawing in their very own ways. Despite major differences, they have a great deal in common. They both pursue unconventional approaches and expand traditional concepts of drawing. The two artists use a wide range of techniques, such as sculptural, elastic shapes made using handmade paper (Grzymala) or highly delicate cut sequences of lines (Hinsberg).
