DierbaarDier , Dear Animal

Dear animal' "DierbaarDier" exhibition in Amsterdam. Artist Fiona Zondervan approaches colleagues to create exhibitions at special locations, with the animal in the leading role. The idea for this annual event arose after the overview and anniversary exhibition 'Dear Animal' in Museum Møhlmann in 2019. Fiona celebrated her 30th anniversary as a sculptor. The exhibition was an overview of her work, supplemented with specially made artworks by 42 colleagues with the animal in the leading role.

The third travel exhibition will take place in Saskia Pfaeltzer's gallery studio in Amsterdam. There are works of art by Ina Fekken, Marlies ter Stege, Petra Tolboom, Geer Steyn, Saskia Pfaeltzer and Fiona Zondervan. Sculptures of stone, bronze and cardboard, mosaics, installations, medals and etchings. Full of amazement, awe, respect and with a touch of humour, these artists show the animal in all its manifestations.
