Commemoration

Commemorating through physical sculptures and collective rituals

The ephemeral figures of Marvin Liberman (US/ES) have a melancholic atmosphere.
Are they the silent voices of both victims and survivors of the the horrors of war?

Ida van der Lee/Studio Ritual Art (NL) designs rituals for loss and commemoration. In Names and Numbers (2012-2021) she designed a ritual in which the local community symbolically  brought back home the 2800 Jews that were deported from her neighbourhood in Amsterdam-East.

After the lectures get together and networking in smaller groups.

Join our Zoom Meeting on Monday, 2 May, 20.00 CEST.
