Sculpture Network’s Online Club
Monday 13 May 2024, 20.00 CEST
In this Online Club we welcome Fides Linien and Manuela Granziol.
Fides Linien is an artist and President of IAPMA, the International Association of Hand Papermakers and Paper Artists. Founded in 1986 in Düren (DE), the Association's main objective is to facilitate a worldwide exchange of artistic ideas and share information about hand papermaking and paper art. IAPMA brings members together by organising congresses, exhibitions and publications.
Fides Linien also helps to develop affordable sanitary pads in Uganda made from vegetable fibres.
Manuela Granziol is an internationally renowed paper artist. She is born in Switzerland, and lives and works in Italy. Her three dimensional figures from printed photos and magazines, highlight how we are shaped and confused by the information overload created by countless social interactions and our consumer society.
